LO4: Offline Edit

The good things about this clip, is that we've added a lot of fast clips, these fast clips add tension to the trailer, we could improve our film trailer by changing the brightness and colours, the tension could also be built up by adding fade to blacks.

My current grade based on the mark scheme:
 I think My current grade based on the mark scheme is a merit, this is because or trailer is at a good technical standard. To improve out grade we will need to make an offline edit to show what we have edited.

LO4: Editing Audio

 
In the screen recording above, we are editing the audio of the child singing as we are adding an echo to the audio and making it more applified, this is to make it more spooky. Before we edited this audio in Adobe Premiere we started editing it in Adobe Audition this was to turn up the audio, after that we added it to Adobe Premiere and made it fit in with the footage

What went well:
We have edited the begining of our trailer even more to add more clips at the beginning of our trailer this is to lengthen our traile and also this is so the trailer starts with footage straight away for any titles are shown.

What we could improve: 
We still need to improve the beginning of our trailer as we need to make make the footage fit with the sound of the heartbeat.

How to improve:
I will make these improvements by concentrating on adding footage before the production company title.

LO4: Rob Speranza Feedback

Rob Speranza is a producer and production manager, known for Entity (2012), Inbred (2011) and Small Creatures (2010). He works for the South Yorkshire film network. Came in to talk to us about film and we showed him out film trailer so far.

Feedback we received:
_The sound was very good and effective
-The timing of the film trailer was a good length

However for improvement he mentioned for the future, if we want the film trailer to aim at a older age range, we need older actors, otherwise it looks like a student film and wouldn't really appeal to a older age range.

LO4: Tutor Feedback

Improvements:
-We need to add a photo of me as a child, this is is to go with the script as "When I was little" is read.-
-We also need to add a fade on the audio of the title graphics, this is so the audio doesnt come to a sudden end.
-We need to add more clips in before the title graphics "This October" as there is too much of a long wait.
-Too many fades at the beginning of the trailer.

We are going to work on all the improvements and take all the feed back on board.

What went well:
We have started to add effects and things to our footages, this is good as our footage is starting to look like a trailer and is coming together, we hit a problem where I did know how to edit the trailer any further, but we are starting to improve on this.

What we could improve:What I need to improve about my trailer is the spacing between the clips, the trailer is too quick and we are struggling to lengthen it because our clips are too close together. 

How to improve:
We will make these improvements by lengthening the gaps between the clips to increase the duration of our trailer

We have created a montage in our trailer, this is another way to increase tention as loads of scary footages flashes up for a short amount of time which leaves the audience wanting to know/see more.

What we could improve: 
We still need to edit the footage around the montage to make the film trailer flow.

How to improve:
We will make these improvements by adding effects between footage to make it blend.

What went well:
We have added sound effects which i think went well as it increases the tention while watching the film trailer as we have added door slams and screams. We have also change some of the effects on the footage using the colour correction wheel this is to added night vison and also mae the scene look darker.

What we could improve: 
We still need to improve the beginning of our trailer as we need more footage at the start before we show the title of our production company.

How to improve:
